Michael Garcia, AIA
Architect

Michael is a central Iowa native who served four years in the United State Marine Corps prior to attending Iowa State University where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Master of Architecture degree. His education in buildings and architecture began at the young age of 16 working in the construction field as a laborer. Decades later, this passion for building carries through to today in his current role as an architect.
Michael’s experience as a capital project manager at Iowa State University, building façade systems designer and construction project manager has provided him with an expansive knowledge of the design process, construction, and the importance of all contributing roles involved in successful projects.
